The addition of matcha to genmaicha adds very intense iodised vegetable flavours to the notes of roasted rice. This speciality from Kagoshima is a pleasant accompaniment to meals.  However, be careful if you are sensitive to theine, do not consume it too late in the day or plan a bit of soporific reading ;) . (Try it cold!)

Brewing instructions: 85° 2.30 minutes. 1 level teaspoon per cup. Packed in Japan in sealed sachets of 100 g. BE-BIO-01 Certisys. Product of non-EU organic farming.
